Tom Publishes Video Series

It has become my personal mission to educate business owners on how to select a website developer. That's why I wrote the book. But it occurred to me that most business owners are probably as lazy as I am and might not want to read a book (even though I did use a big font to make it easier to read).

So, I spent a day with my good friend and video guy, Derek Lau, to create my video series called, "21 Questions That You Must Ask Before Hiring a Web Developer". You can watch these videos on our website (ezsolution.com/web-development.asp) by filling out a quick form on the homepage.

Then my tech marketing guru, Robin Robins, showed me an audio CD that one of her clients is using as a prospecting/lead generation tool. WOW, was I excited at this idea.

The rest is history... I created a DVD. Well, I had a local company, Dering.com, create 1,000 of them for me. I'm sure you are wondering, what did that cost? Without counting the cost of the video production, it was about $1.50 per DVD. Compare this to an ad specialty item that your prospect will probably throw in the trash anyway (I mean no disrespect to the ad specialty industry). This is a deal.

I am using the DVDs when I meet with new business owners as a free education item. My sales team is also using them when they are prospecting or are on sales calls.

So far, I've had a nice reaction from business owners.
