Change Spacing Quickly in Word

Often, you'd like to change the line spacing of a paragraph or section of your document when working in Microsoft Word. Here's a faster way to accomplish the task without wading through Word's menus.

1. Select the text you want to change.
2. Do one of the following:
   • To set line spacing to single-space lines, press CTRL+1.
   • To set line spacing to double-space lines, press CTRL+2.
   • To set line spacing to 1.5-line spacing, press CTRL+5.
