Our Services are FREE!
This is an outlandish statement. Free Computer Service? No, I haven't lost my mind.
Most business owners have a difficult determining what computer support really costs them each year.
What Do Your IT Services REALLY Cost You?

This is the question that I ask myself about my own business all the time. The reality is that being an IT business owner does not make me have any different concerns about computers than you have.
There are two types of IT costs that we all face:
Hard Costs Soft Costs
I'll admit to having never-ending frustrations on the hardware expenses. In 2010, we invested (no, I painfully had the money ripped from my hand) over $20,000 in new web servers. I didn't want to spend the money. But we were outgrowing the speed and capacity of our 2 and 3 year old web servers.
I say this, so that you know that I really do understand how hard it is to spend your hard earned cash on yet another computer, server or fancy new smart phone.
Yes, I'm cheap and I'm willing to admit it.
Here's the problem. Most business owners, when asked "what do you spend on IT?" answer like this:
"Well, I spend money on the hardware, the software and what I pay my guy to come out and fix the stuff."
What they fail to look at are all the soft costs. This is where you really spend most of your money. It's not the $20,000 on the new web servers plus the 150 hours of labor to install them that cost me the most money last year. It was all the soft costs that even an IT company battles each year.
What Do I Mean By Soft Costs?
- Downtime
- Lost Productivity
- Security Risks
- Staff Time Drain
- Staff Frustrations
Because I am so intent on reducing my business soft costs, we have created great value as a partner to reduce our client's soft costs.
Here's the great thing about most of the soft costs. In most cases, you can calculate what the actual costs are.
We built cost calculators on our site so that you can do your own math on what your soft costs are.
I recently had a friend of mine comment that I was a "Profitability Expert." The comment took me by surprise. But the more I thought about it, I realized that he was right. I have a passion for helping business owners see through the fog so that they can get to the bottom of these nebulous expenses.
In the end, our services end up being FREE because we implement strategies to reduce their soft costs.
