Change Spacing Quickly in Word
Often, you'd like to change the line spacing of a paragraph
or section of your document when working in Microsoft Word. Here's a faster way to accomplish the task without wading through Word's menus.
- Select the text you want to change.
- Do one of the following:
- To set line spacing to single-space lines, press CTRL+1.
- To set line spacing to double-space lines, press CTRL+2.
- To set line spacing to 1.5-line spacing, press CTRL+5.
