Disaster dropped from the clouds in Joplin, MO on May 20, 2011.
A year ago on May 20, my friend John’s business was wiped out by the F5 tornado that swept through Joplin, MO.
The most amazing part of this story is that John had his business up and running in 5 hours with all his data intact, even though he didn’t have a building. In 72 hours he had all of his clients’ data available to them. Since the majority of his clients are medical professionals, this was significant. John was ironically able to do this because of the cloud-based backup he insisted that his clients use.
